Wyoming Hotel Reservations
The high plains and majestic mountains of Wyoming are best experienced in the summer. Everyone knows Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park are bucket-list-worthy destinations, and this season’s warm days and cool nights make them even more inviting. What’s more, the people of communities like Gillette, Sheridan, Laramie, and Evanston are set to welcome visitors with more special events, festivals, and activities than ever.
Rawlins, situated between Rock Springs and Laramie on Interstate 80, is preparing for its biggest festival of the year. SummerFest 2015 is July 10th and 11th, filling downtown with fun for the whole family – everything from tours of the Ferguson at the new site of the Carbon County Museum to the Color Run 5K.
The 2015 Laramie Brew Fest is one of the main events of the 2015 Laramie Jubilee Days, which start on Independence Day and continue through July 12th. It’s a party in Depot Park, where visitors are invited to sample the suds of local and regional breweries while enjoying a full day of live music. Breweries on hand will include big names like Alaskan Brewing Co. and Blue Moon.
Wyoming’s mild summer weather means fair season comes early, and Rock Springs hosts the Cowboy State’s biggest one, July 26th through August 2nd. Called Wyoming’s Big Show, the 2015 Sweetwater County Fair features a week of rodeo action, carnival rides, festival food, live music, and more – all at the Sweetwater Events Complex.
Join Cody residents in the 20th Annual Wild West Balloon Fest, July 31st through August 2nd. Visitors are invited to mingle with pilots and get an up close view of the balloons at Mentock Park before the sky fills with color as the balloons take flight.
Families visiting Casper won’t want to miss the 2015 Riverfest & Duck Derby. Nestled against the banks of the North Platte River, Crossroads Park hosts the fun, which promises a little something for everyone – from food and craft beer vendors to the race of the rubber duckies, which are propelled by the North Platte current.
The best BBQ-ers in Wyoming convene in Cheyenne to showcase their best recipes at the 2015 Cheyenne Kiwanis Rib Fest, August 14th through 16th. Sample the sweet and savory flavors, check out a variety of rare, vintage, and special cars, participate in raffles and games, and dance to live music at the Cheyenne Depot Plaza.
