Devils Tower National Monument

Devils Tower National Monument is site of the monolithic volcanic neck, that stands 5,112 feet tall above the Belle Fourche River. The monument, located in northeastern Wyoming, was established in 1906 by President Theodore Roosevelt. The tower developed when the surrounding and overlying sedimentary rocks eroded, leaving the igneous rock standing tall.

Several Native American Plains tribes believe the tower is sacred. Visit the monument to view this incredible tower, hike along one of the trails or bring your gear for climbing. Enjoy the scenic drive to nearby Gillette to enjoy wonderful accommodations and guest services as a guest of Best Western hotels.
